Amanda is an advertising copywriter. Kristina lost the writer she used to be. Kim loves graphic design, but is too scared to give it her all. Mands is often seduced by marketing, branding, and productivity tools. All four personas finally got over Tumblr's bookmarklet.

You know what pisses me off about the stupid Belo ad and the new Block & White commercial? It’s actually a very personal thing. For most of my adolescent years, no matter what my parents and titas said about morena beauty, all the magazines I read, billboards I saw, “ang-puti-niya” comments I heard, TV shows I followed, they all said otherwise.
I may not be hung up with my skin color today. I’m sincerely proud of it. I love how it’s a part of my whole look and personality. But what does bother me is the number of young brown-skinned girls out there who will have to go through thinking their skin color is wrong or sub-standard before they start accepting themselves 100%. It was a crappy feeling fabricated by advertising, and I hope more people speak about the beauty of our skin. Let’s out-voice the stupid “whiter-is-better” mentality and just teach girls to love themselves, take care of their bodies, be confident, and respect one another.
